Rundle Lantern – Grand Opening

Rundle Lantern – Grand Opening

Situated on the corner of Rundle Street and Pultney Street in Adelaide, the Hungry Jack’s Car Park has been turned into a work of art known as the Rundle Lantern.

The Lantern will be lit every night from ‘Dusk’ (approximately 7pm Central Standard Time) to midnight. Isn’t it pretty?

(Please forgive the voices in the background, there was a large crowd and we were making fun of them all.)

    Indeed they are. …
Indeed they are. Best piece of ‘art’ I’ve ever seen in public. Adelaide’s known for it’s churches (though not, on the whole, religiously orientated) and it’s weirdo art sculptures like “Spheres” in Rundle Mall itself (affectionately known as The Mall’s Balls), so this makes a very nice change.
